The budget sheet information listed above is valid for Winter Term 2019.
A $400 application deposit is due at the time of application. Applicants submit a deposit to indicate their commitment to the program. The deposit is used toward the total billable cost of the program. For more information, visit the Application Deposit FAQ page.
Billable Costs
Global Engagement Program Fee
The Winter Term Global Program Fee is billed to the student account in September. If you are interested in setting up a payment plan, please contact the Office of the Bursar at 336.278.5300. For more on payment and cancellation deadlines, see the Winter Term deadlines page.The program fee includes:
- Some meals
- Shared accommodations
- Transportation to all course-related activities
- Admission to all course-related sites, museums, and cultural events
- Entry/Exit visa and taxes
- Round-trip international airfare from the U.S. departure airport
- International health insurance
- Cancellation insurance
Non-billable/Estimated Costs
Estimated costs listed above are not included in what is billed to the student account. These estimates are mid-range amounts, subject to change at any time, and are dependent upon personal preferences.Estimated Passport Cost
If you do not have a passport that is valid until six months beyond your anticipated return for this program, visit the Department of State website to begin the application or renewal process.Estimated Spending Money
