Billable Costs
Global Engagement Program Fee: The Winter Term Global Program Fee is billed to the student account in September. If you are interested in setting up a payment plan, please contact the Office of the Bursar at 336-278-5300.The program fee includes:
- Some meals
- Shared accommodations
- Transportation to all course-related activities
- Admission to all course-related sites, museums, and cultural events
- Entry/Exit visa and taxes
- Round-trip international airfare from the U.S. departure airport
- Comprehensive international insurance
Fees are subject to change due to exchange rate fluctuation and changes in cost by the host institution.
Non-billable/Estimated Costs
Estimated costs listed above are not included in what is billed to the student account. These estimates are mid-range amounts, subject to change at any time, and are dependent upon personal preferences.Estimated Passport Cost
If you do not have a passport that is valid until six months beyond your anticipated return for this program, visit the Department of State website to begin the application or renewal process.Estimated Spending Money

Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website to see the recommended and required immunizations and medications for your program. Talk with your family and your physician to decide which immunizations and medications you will get before you travel.
